David Coulthards Red Bull F1 Car

Charlie and me have just made a flying visit to the shop at the Grand Prix Collection shop at Donington Park.

In the entrance hall is the beautiful Red Bull car driven by David Coulthard in 2008.

We didn’t get to go around the museum today, but it is well worth a visit. The shop is also full of goodies!

Segway Rally Experience

Today I did a Segway Rally Experience at Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire.

Really enjoyed it despite falling off at one point.

Sage Line 50: Username in Use

Not sure if anybody can help, but we have Sage Line 50 and the program is saying “Username in Use”

I have followed the instructions below and deleted the Queue.DTA file but it will still not let me on.

http://sageforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=65194#65194

FOLLOWED THESE INSTRUCTIONS

Username in use – When I try to login to Sage Accounts I get the following message: ‘This Username is in use. The program cannot connect you at this time’

This message will appear when Sage Line 50 thinks that the current user is logged in. If the user is currently logged on to another PC, they should log off that PC and then retry logging on to the problem PC (i.e. the PC that the message appeared on). If the user isn’t logged on to another PC, then the QUEUE.DTA file needs to be deleted.

To delete the QUEUE.DTA file, please follow the steps below:
1.       Browse to your data directory using My Computer or Windows Explorer.
2.       Double-click the Accdata folder, select QUEUE.DTA file, then press the Delete key on the keyboard.
3.       A prompt will appear to confirm the deletion therefore click Yes.
4.       To return to the Windows desktop, open the File Menu on My Computer or Windows Explorer and choose Exit.
You can now log onto Sage 50 Accounts.

iPhone Apps: Word Lens

I’ve had Word Lens on my iPhone since the day I saw it on BBC Click. The app is very clever, all you need to do is hover over text and Word Lens reads it and can display it backwards or delete it completely. But there are also some additional packs you can purchase for it; English to Spanish, Spanish to English and more recently French to English and Vice versa. I bought one of these (expensive) packs for going to Spain with, more just to play with. It was very very clever, as said before. Hover over the text, and you can pause the screen so that you can read what it has translated. I found it fantastic for menus and information boards, and although I did Spanish at school for 2 years it was very useful. Also great to have a play with the free packs.

Quick Pic: Juzcar

This is a photo of Juzcar in Spain. Sony painted it blue to promote the release of the Smurfs film.

Locals don’t want Sony to paint it back as it has increased the number of tourists to the village.

Worth a visit but the drive there is scary!
